Enhancements Operations Manager
Having well over 10 years of professional experience in the landscape industry, Cara brings a fresh new outlook to Caretaker Landscape when it comes to landscape architecture and design. She is an Arizona State University Alumni, who earned a Bachelor of Arts in Design Studies of the Built Environment and Masters of Landscape Architecture before starting her career in Commercial Landscape Construction. Working as a Master Gardener for Maricopa County and volunteering at Desert Botanical Gardens, she has a true appreciation for Arizona’s native desert plant palette.
Cara’s experience ranges from residential landscape design to facilitator of design charrettes for Reinvent Phoenix – a sustainable community development program based in metro-Phoenix. Although an Arizona native, she has also proven her talents of architectural design outside of Arizona. She has made her mark in California, Oregon, Colorado, New Jersey, New York, Texas, Florida and Tennessee. Her commercial landscape experience matches that of her architectural design experience, as she is often a key player in the many different phases of projects. Cara has held significant roles when it comes to estimating, project management and overall operations management.
Cara’s versatility is evident when considering the many types of projects, she has been a part of, including Single Family residential, Multi-family residential (apartments, student housing, assisted living), ranch properties, small sports complex, dog parks and monument entries.
